Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Law student Carolyn Skorupa says that taking part in the ANIP program was one of the best choices she made while university.
“My placement at the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina was a great way to experience the day-to-day workings of diplomacy while practising Spanish and learning about international trade practice.”
The 2011 intern, who graduated from ANU is 2012, says the program opened the door for her to do honours in Spanish, an internship with an international NGO and an international law course in Geneva.
“I made great friendships both with embassy staff and with the other interns through ANIP, and I produced a report that I knew would actually be used in the ‘real world,’ says Carolyn.
“I cannot recommend the program highly enough.”
