How do I apply?
Semester 2 2012 Applications are closed
To be considered for an Internship with ANIP, you must apply specifically to the Australian National Internships Program. All student applications and supporting documents must be sent to the ANIP office, electronically where possible. You can forward forward the required documentation separately
Incomplete and Late applications can not be considered. (after 5pm closing date)
Your ANIP application will consist of:

ANIP Application Form
-a completed online ANIP Application Form Non-ANU students also need to provide Cross Institutional Application Formsee below -
Statement
-a 500 word statement on why you are applyingand what you hope to achieve as an Intern. -
Resume/CV
-a resume/curriculum vitae outlining your educational and other qualifications i.e. work experience and other interests. (no referee details) -
Transcript
-a current original official transcript of all your academic results (you can update this later). If applying to PG course provide copy of UG transcript. ANU students can download a Statement of Results from ISIS -
Referee Report
-three referee reports (at least two of these must be academic referees and can be from lecturers, tutors). Reports must be written on the attached ANIP Referee Report It is your responsibility to either download the form and provide a copy to each of your nominated referees or ask the referee to email the form to internships@anu.edu.au. Forms are to be returned to ANIP by referees, by the closing date for applications for the particular semester you wish to apply for. Note:The names of referees should be included on a separate page with your application documentation (not on your resume/CV). -
Letter of Approval
-approval documentation is required to ensure you receive credit for undertaking ANIP. ANU student's require a letter of approval from your College office. Non-ANU domestic students use the UG Cross Institutional Approval Form or PG Cross Institutional Approval Form in place of the letter of approval.
NON- ANU STUDENTS
-
To undertake study at the ANU an application to ANU is also required ie Cross-institutional Non-Award applicants - you must complete and return the appropriate form below in hardcopy to ANIP with an officicial transcript and the above documentation

Application for Non-Award Enrolment: Undergraduate Fee-PayingAll students need to apply directly to ANIP. Upon acceptance into the Program students receive an official letter of offer from the ANU Admissions Office.

Accommodation
Accommodation in Canberra is limited so check the Accommodation site for details and registration when applying to ANIP

- Exchange students or Study Abroad students who are interested in applying to ANIP, please refer to the website Student Mobility Program for all application details. You are required to submit the above ANIP documentation in addition to the documentation required for Student Mobility
