ANIP internships

The Australian National Internships Program (ANIP) gives undergraduate and postgraduate students an opportunity to work at the heart of Australian policy and politics.

The elite program arranges research-orientated internships at the Australian Federal Parliament, the Australian Capital Territory Legislative Assembly, in the public service or non-government organisations.

Washington internships

The Washington Internship Program is a course offered by the School of Politics & International Relations at ANU, incorporating a seven-week internship in the United States Congress.

The course offers students with a good background in American government and politics an opportunity to experience political life in Washington DC by working in the offices of Members of Congress or on the staff of Congressional committees and then to complete a program of research on a specialised aspect of American government, politics, and public policy.

Taiwan internships

The Taiwan Public Policy Internship Program is a six-week research internship for academic credit. The internship will be with a department or agency in the Taiwanese Government (Republic of China) or private organisation.

The internship program is coordinated by the Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) through the School of Politics and International Relations, and supported in Taiwan by the National Academy of Civil Service, Taipei. The internship will take place from the end of December - mid February 2017 (with specific dates to be confirmed) in Taipei, Taiwan.
